How Outline Drawings Are Produced for Custom Projects

Outline drawings for custom projects are designed to your structural dimensions and mounting method, and drawings (CAD / SolidWorks format) are provided free of charge before production. Process:

• ① Submit dimensions and operating conditions — cabinet dimensions, mounting method (floor-standing / wall-mounted / flush-mounted), incoming and outgoing cable direction, and ingress protection (IP) rating;
• ② Produce structural drawings — engineers produce outline drawings + cutout drawings + mounting dimension drawings;
• ③ Drawing review — drawings submitted are reviewed first, with modification suggestions for details that are unfavorable for volume production (seeBuild-to-Drawing Guidelines);
• ④ Confirm and start production — production begins after drawing confirmation, and final drawings are delivered in the as-built documentation package.

What Drawing Formats Are Available

• DXF / DWG — general CAD format, ready to use for structural engineers;
• PDF — for print review and filing;
• STEP / SolidWorks — 3D assembly models provided per project;
• Single-line / schematic / terminal diagrams — request sample electrical drawings (redacted) by email.
