Five steps to specify your run
A configuration summary is generated as you go. It travels with your inquiry, saving a round of confirmation.
Build details
Systems have been in service for decades, and the failure points are always the same few: poor busbar contact, water ingress at the door seal, high temperature rise in the correction cabinet, and mis-phased outgoing feeders. The six hard rules below are written for exactly these points — every cabinet can be traced to them.
even gasket pressure all around
Tighten the 4–6 stainless steel cover bolts in a diagonal pattern so the gasket is compressed evenly around the full perimeter — tightening one side down first lifts the opposite side and lets water in.
No chipped edges at openings
After drilling, every opening in the stainless steel box is chamfered and deburred hole by hole, so the pushbutton gasket seats tight. A chipped opening is the most common failure point for IP65.
Install on arrival
Components are mounted per the schematic, wires are fitted with number sleeves, terminals are crimped, and the box ships fully assembled. On site you only land the incoming cable. With loose parts wired on site, quality depends entirely on the site electrician.
Wiring matches the drawing
Every box is checked with a continuity meter, contact pair by contact pair, against the terminal numbers on the schematic. One wrong wire can cost half a day of troubleshooting on site. We do not skip this check.
Safety circuit kept separate
The emergency stop normally-closed contact runs on its own circuit with a high-visibility wire number and does not share a terminal with standard pushbuttons. Mixing a safety circuit into other wiring is a fundamental problem.
304 has to be 304
Stainless steel sheet is sampled on receipt per the GB/T 10125 salt spray basis, and the material certificate is filed with the heat number to guard against upstream substitution.
Photos & enclosure construction
Below are photos taken in our own shop — from the complete unit down to the internal busbars and secondary wiring. Every build detail can be checked item by item.

Image key: 01–05 are shop photos (the numbers match the shot list). The line drawing shows the front elevation of the enclosure; dimensions match the specification table above.
Where these cabinets go
These are the routine applications — we can talk scheme and configuration directly. For the industry view, see the industry pages.
Machine-side operation
Local start/stop and emergency stop for a single machine, with dual operation from the main cabinet remotely and at the machine locally.
Conveyor line emergency stop
Emergency stop boxes spaced along the line, with pull-cord emergency stop schemes designed to line length.
Local pump / fan control
Local control boxes for pumps and fans in the pump room, running alongside remote control from the main control room.
Food processing plants
304 washdown pushbutton boxes with rounded transitions and no crevices where residue collects.
Docks / outdoor
Cast aluminum with powder coating and IP65, built to take impact and salt spray.
Equipment OEM
Bulk supply as standard accessories shipped with equipment, with your brand nameplate silk-screened to drawing.

Six questions procurement and electrical engineers ask most
ABS or stainless steel — which one?
For a standard workshop in a dry environment, ABS is sufficient and costs less. For washdown, food contact, or coastal salt spray, choose 304. Where there is impact risk (docks, forklift aisles), choose cast aluminum. If you are not sure, send us photos of the site and we will advise based on the environment.
Can an emergency stop and other pushbuttons go in one box?
Yes. The emergency stop takes 1 opening (φ30 or φ40). Standard practice is a normally-closed contact on an independent circuit for the emergency stop, with a red mushroom head on a yellow base. We wire to drawing and keep it on its own circuit.
Can you silk-screen my brand or function text on the box?
Yes. Nameplate silk-screen or laser marking both work. Send us the artwork to confirm font and layout. No extra charge at volume.
If a hole is drilled wrong, can it be fixed?
Before the order, we issue an opening drawing based on the component list for both sides to confirm. If a hole is wrong after confirmation, we remake it at our cost. Drilling or modifying holes after delivery damages the gasket sealing face, so we do not recommend it.
Where does the cable enter?
Standard entry is through a gland at the bottom (M16/M20 selected to cable diameter). Top entry lets water run down the cable, so unless a rainproof bend is fitted, we generally do not recommend it.
How is volume pricing calculated?
Orders of 10 units or more qualify for volume pricing; orders of 50 units or more are scheduled separately. The higher the volume for the same configuration and hole pattern, the lower the unit price. Send your quantity and bill of materials for a quote.
