Build details
Systems have been in service for decades, and the failure points are always the same few: poor busbar contact, water ingress at the door seal, high temperature rise in the correction cabinet, and mis-phased outgoing feeders. The six hard rules below are written for exactly these points — every cabinet can be traced to them.
Component and harness reinforcement
Reinforced component mounting, harness retention, terminal locking. In a bouncing vehicle environment, one loose terminal means one downtime event.
IP65 fully sealed
Door gasket sealing + cable gland entry, IP65 dust-tight. Mine dust gets in everywhere — if the sealing is not done right, a layer of dust builds up inside the cabinet.
Cabinet stiffening ribs
Stiffening ribs on the cabinet body resist impact without deformation. Bumping and knocking are routine in a mine — cabinet structural strength is the baseline.
Vibration-resistant component mounting
Contactors, relays and other components are mounted with reinforcement, not standard clips. In a vibrating environment, how a component is mounted determines its service life.
Cable gland entry/exit
Cable entries and exits are sealed with cable glands for dust and water protection. The weak point of a vehicle-mounted cabinet is the cable entry — sealing has to be done right.
Customized to vehicle space
Dimensions, mounting method, cable entry and exit, and control requirements are all customized to the vehicle space. There is no off-the-shelf cabinet for mining vehicles.

What makes a mining vehicle-mounted cabinet different from a standard cabinet?
Three things: vibration resistance, dust protection and impact resistance. Vehicle bouncing calls for vibration-resistant reinforcement, mine dust calls for IP65 dust protection, and knocks and impacts call for structural reinforcement. Standard cabinets have a high failure rate in this environment; mining-duty cabinets are purpose-built for it.
How do you handle vibration resistance?
Stiffening ribs on the cabinet body, reinforced component mounting, harness retention and terminal locking. Vibration resistance is not just about using thicker steel plate — the mounting method for every component and harness has to suit the vibration environment.
Can it keep out mine dust?
IP65 protection, door gasket sealing + cable gland entry. Mine dust gets in everywhere, so we build it fully sealed. When the dust protection rating and sealing details are done right, the inside of the cabinet stays clean.
Can you do PLC control?
Yes. We also build PLC logic control for mining equipment, with the cabinet reinforced for the vehicle-mounted environment. Control functions and vibration/dust protection are done right together.
