2. Powder-Coated Galvanized Sheet (Economy Option)

Powder-coated galvanized sheet = cold-rolled steel sheet, galvanized, then powder-coated. Zinc layer ≥ 8μm, powder coating ≥ 60μm. Pros: low cost, good strength. Cons:rusts once the zinc layer is damaged, service life 3–5 years in damp outdoor environments. Suited to indoor dry and general industrial environments.

3. 304 Stainless Steel (General Outdoor Use)

304 stainless steel contains 18% chromium + 8–10% nickel, giving good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. The enclosure surface is brushed or mirror-finished — no coating required. Suited togeneral outdoor environments, food workshops and cleanrooms. Cons: no molybdenum, so it does not resist seawater/chloride corrosion — it will pit in coastal use.

4. 316 Stainless Steel (For Chemical / Coastal Environments)

316

316 stainless steel adds 2–3% molybdenum, with significantly improved resistance to chloride ion corrosion. Applications:
Coastal / offshore platforms— severe salt spray corrosion
Chemical plants— acid and alkali gas corrosion
Pharma / food— high cleanliness requirements
It costs 30–50% more than 304 and 3–5 times more than galvanized sheet.
