Smart Street Lighting Distribution Cabinet Package: Operating Conditions, Cabinet Types and Custom Build Points

Application Scenarios

Intelligent integrated distribution cabinets for urban power distribution, building equipment rooms and smart campuses. Typical functions: (1) main incoming line + feeders + metering + power factor correction in one unit; (2) communication interfaces (Modbus / Ethernet / 4G); (3) remote monitoring and alarms. The cabinets use a modular design: incoming line, metering, power factor correction and feeders are combined as required, with spare capacity reserved for expansion; components are selected from Schneider / ABB / Chint and others according to budget and reliability requirements. Outdoor sites get additional surge protection and condensation control, and the time / photocell control strategy for street lighting circuits is implemented inside the cabinet.
