Reactor Heating Jacket Control Cabinet Solutions: Operating Conditions, Cabinet Types & Custom Build Points
Application Scenarios
A heating jacket control cabinet looks simple, but two things decide whether it works: ① Temperature control — coordinated control of the jacket heat transfer oil and the reactor internal temperature. Heat-up must be fast with minimal overshoot; select solid-state relay power regulation or SCR voltage regulation based on power. ② Safety — runaway electric heating is a leading cause of reactor incidents. Over-temperature must trip in hardware (a temperature switch wired in series with the heating circuit), not rely on software alone. Size wiring terminals for the high currents of the heating circuits with derating. What we build into a heating jacket control cabinet: zone-based temperature control, independent over-temperature protection per zone, heating circuits and control circuits routed separately, and a full-power burn-in test before shipment.
