Powder coating: 60–80μm film thickness, cured at 200℃ for 30min
Powder coating: the other half of surface service life
Powder coating is the most common surface treatment for control cabinets: environmentally friendly, wear-resistant, available in any RAL color. Film thickness and the cure curve determine service life — if either is done short of spec, service life can differ by more than double.

What metrics matter for coating quality
- Film thickness: sampled per unit, 60–80μm;
- Adhesion: cross-hatch test, no coating lift-off;
- Appearance: uniform, no sags, no particles, no color variation;
- Salt spray (if required): per contract terms, no red rust after the specified hours.
