Who We Are
Zhejiang Golden Unicorn Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2020 in the Fengchuan Industrial Zone, Tonglu, Hangzhou. We manufacture electrical control cabinets and low-voltage switchgear assemblies. Our brand name is used consistently in all external communications: GU ELECTRIC (Zhejiang Golden Unicorn), and our slogan is "Beyond the Cabinet" — what we deliver is not just a sheet metal enclosure, but an assembled system that can be powered up and run as delivered.
Our 20-person team handles everything from design, sheet metal fabrication and painting to assembly, wiring and factory testing in one facility. Our family has worked in the electrical industry for more than 30 years, and that experience shows up mainly in custom designs and difficult site conditions: which ingress protection rating, which material, which cooling approach a given site needs. Those calls come from mistakes we've already made, not from a datasheet.

Workshop & Equipment
Sheet Metal Fabrication
Laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, grinding. Cabinet door gaps are held to 1.5–2.5mm, and nine-fold profile cabinets are built to the Rittal-style dimensional system.
Painting Line
Pre-treatment → electrostatic powder coating → curing. Film thickness is 60–80μm, spot-checked per the process card. Color codes can be matched to your brand color.
Assembly & Wiring
Wiring follows the secondary schematic, with wire markers and terminal identification complete. Wiring accuracy is 99.8%. Conductor cross-sections and color codes follow GB/T.

With an affiliated company
Jinma Electrical Controls holds a 51% stake in Zhejiang Golden Unicorn; it is ouraffiliated company with a 51% shareholding. The two companies operate independently and keep separate books, with different business focuses; on some projects they coordinate on capacity and supply chain.
When communicating externally, please note the distinction:GU ELECTRIC / Zhejiang Golden Unicornis this brand;GOLDEN UNICORN ELECTRIC is a registered trademark of Jinma Electrical Controls, not our external brand. For export business, use GU ELECTRIC consistently.
What we do not do
- We do not take orders that require production to start before drawings are confirmed — we do not skip the drawing confirmation step, and that protects both sides.
- We do not claim certifications we do not hold. For explosion-proof qualifications, UL508A and similar, we state clearly how the actual supply is arranged.
- We do not publish customer names or project photos without the customer's authorization.
- We do not cut specifications to win an order. Component brands and ratings are written into the quotation line items and checked item by item at acceptance.
